I was working at Durham University and my mate got called over to the School of Politics or whatever for some touch ups. He told me that he heard students actually being taught there how to avoid answering a question while he was doing his job
Females don't need to be taught ... ... they just say 'I'm fine' to absolutely any question, even when it's obvious they're not Farage has a technique that he'll not be able to use forever. An interviewer will mention a point he's raised and ask if he agrees with it. If it's gone badly he'll say 'No but I do believe we should be asking these questions'. If it's gone well he'll claim all the credit and say it was his idea all along. Eni Aluko used the same routine, for a while, until it came back to bite her arse. There comes a point when you have to answer a question, not just keep answering with a question. Boris Johnson found that out.

Politicians generally seem to have a list of standard deflection answers when they refuse to commit to yes or no. ''What you need to understand'' ''Well what we are doing'' ''We are getting on with the job'' '' Our predecessors did whatever '' etc etc

Every party blames the previous party, it works for a while when someone has just come into power. However when they are given ample time to correct the things they blame the previous government for...and fail to actually do anything about it. That's when the public get pissed off. I always thought Labour coming in would be a rocky road, and things were likely to get worse before improving. They've been in less than a year so I'm still reserving judgement.

I've just read Farage and reforns plans for if they win the next election. All i can say is that they sound very exiting indeed, BUT, how they can possibly achieve them is anyone's guess. Words are very cheap, and lots of people will fall for them, but actions speak much louder. Can't post a link but the promises, sorry proposals are, in I think, the Daily Telegraph.
