It was explained quite clearly that a club can be in financial difficulty and still sign players for money, it happened at Portsmouth, Reading (Danny Drinkwater being a prime example) and at Derby. Having a huge debt doesn't mean you don't have cash to hand, the club still needs to function. A rich club doesn't pay its players late because it's waiting for a wire transfer from abroad. Maybe just wait instead of jumping in on every financial transaction, yeah?
Matrix in the background of inbound players and outbound players for a fee, no one knows the detail so sit tight, it's all about the net figure post the window I suspect. Certainly Acun knows he's in trouble if he sticks with what we've got, watch this space. At least after Saturday the bonfire and fire sale is much smaller!
If plod become involved hopefully it'll be the large team that's investigating the rugby bottle throwers. They've pored through hundreds of hours of CCTV footage, and have worked tirelessly, night and day, to bring those responsible to justice. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
If the owner is looking to sell the club wouldn't he be better looking for buyers rather than players?
First bits v true. I have a lot of respect for what the Coyles have achieved and what they do. That said, maybe the issue is that, given what & who they are, they shouldn't be putting themselves in such situations. There's too many idiots about these days. I know, they should be able to go where they want, especially in their home town, and you'd like to think they'd get the respect they deserve, but unfortunately life just isn't like that any more. Don't put yourself in such settings to start with?
Hope this doesn't turn into something it doesn't need to. If it's genuinely a case of some nobhead lamping Tommy and Lewie reacting, the club should be supporting him and as fans we need to show the club we do too.
