Tickets sold out right away, and tickets sold out to see the away leg at The Valley on a big screen. This should show the owners the potential support CAFC has, and whatever division we're in next season they should give NJ whatever support he tells them he needs.
Just referencing back to Global's post on ITTV about a possible pitch invasion on Thursday at the Valley... I'm not sure he even meant it. Does anyone think there will be a pitch invasion at full time? If we were winning automatic promotion, yes I could understand that. But it's a ticket to Wembley that victory will bring. Not Championship football. I suppose if the circumstances were dramatic enough; being a goal down going into stoppage time maybe, then turning it around with two last-gasp goals. Or a tense penalty shoot-out. But if we win comfortably, with the result obvious for most of the second half, would we really see fans on the pitch? It would be a bit over the top methinks.
Pens also. I watched highlights of this game recently - I was unaware May played for Doncaster on that day
