You should definitely go mate. I went to see them at Leicester University and they lasted two songs before a massive riot stopped it all ... ... hundreds of skinheads attacked the venue, for a reason I can't remember, and it was absolute mayhem. The 'security' was the Uni rugby team who absolutely kacked their pants. Love the group though, very underrated.
Just did a quick search and found this ... ... I'll post the link as well, some interesting comments. "Been to lots of very violent gigs - worst definitely Dead Kennedys at Leicester Uni 1981 or 1982. Nazi Punks Feck Off had just come out and I think our skinhead brethren took exception. They were there pushing people around and giving out the odd smack (It didn't help the Millions of Dead Cops were the support group and they seemed to have a lot of reciprocated empathy with the skins). When DK came on they went wild at the front (where I was) and were leathering everybody big-style. This massive geezer informed me if I didn't stop shouting along with Jello he would take my head off - I was only fifteen! Anyway they were up goose-stepping on stage about three songs in and Jello weren't going to put up with that sh/t. Gig over. Got backstage though and had cool party. They were all really cool guys. Regards, Timmy." https://www.tapatalk.com/groups/damnednonsense/most-violent-gig-t4113-s10.html#google_vignette
Sometimes groups trying to be cool can get it so wrong so look contrived and annoying ... ... the B-52s get it so right in my opinion, love them.
September 24th at the Astor Theatre in Perth. Turns out we’re flying back from Singapore that evening so can’t make it. Mrs K wasn’t as disappointed as I was.

Just for me and you and anybody else who cares to listen Footnote I saw Mike Bloomfield a few years back in Newcastle playing with The Count Basie band and Georgie Fame, he ( MB) dueted with another Guitarist in a segue that was incredible ) no idea who he was playing with but it was magic.
