I know this goes against all things being a supporter but I really hope this current team gets absolutely smashed playing Man City, I mean 10, 11 , 12 nil kinda smashed. I want this current excuse for a side to be humiliated and to have to live with the stain of not only being one of the worst ever Premiership sides ever but also to have the added shame of being trounced into double figures for the rest of their careers! That performance wasn't far short of disgusting in the context of having a minuscule amount of pride left for themselves, the city of Southampton and the fans. How anyone can think we are going to be a force in the championship is totally beyond me? Pathetic team - Pathetic owners. Currently I'm afraid to say I'm almost an Anti-Saint.
The only thing with hoping we break Derbys record on GD, and hoping we get absolutely smashed by someone because the players deserve it is…well, they don’t really give a ****. They will move on to another club and forget about it. It’s our club and us fans that the records will stick to. It’s us who will be ridiculed for years to come, not them.
I think I'm just angry at the complete lack of effort from the majority of the players and I want the buggers to suffer. How can they have such little pride, quite obvious to me that they really couldn't care less about the club or it's loyal fans. Hanging is too good for them!
I completely understand! I want the records to be associated with and attributed to them rather than us, but sadly that's not the way it goes (unless you're Robbie Savage).
