Massive congratulations to Kiwi, who after leading this competition for large swathes of this season almost snaffled it all up in the last week by posting his predictions up late, thereby having the first four nullified, is this years champion!

He still managed to score enough with the final two matches to snatch victory though as his nearest competitors all had low-scoring weeks.

    Screenshot_20250503_173434_Gallery.jpg

    He wins by 2 points.

Commiserations to Wherever, DaveRangers, SteelMonkey and especially Stroller who competed so closely with Kiwi all the way.

Thank you to everybody that took part this season and stuck at it all the way through.

Same time, same place, next season?!

Thanks Hoop-Leif for all your hard work providing a wonderful season here. Congratulations to Kiwi who kept it together despite being pressed hard at the end. Usual mid-table mediocrity for me but in good company with my Dublin friend.

Just looking at the other thread and the Kiwi cock-up discussion. So did he get binned?

His first four predictions got binned but he earned enough points from his final 2 predictions to win anyway.

So Kiwi deservedly ends up as champion!

Ok, Ok….. let’s not go overboard.

Thanks so much HoopsL. A wonderful effort , thank you so much from all of us. Great fun.

Kiwi winning ..I am still convinced that with New Zealand being 11 hours ahead of UK, he is getting the results half a day before we are it is the only explanation!
