1. Egan 2. Puerta 3. Crooks Also big shout out to fellow poster Oldman who graciously sold on his tickets allowing us to witness a great city day out in person. A true gent!
True, but it’s probably his time wasting, but I could’ve gone for Egan as my 3rd, just chose Pandur instead!
Gelhardt - should never have been subbed Puerta - did a great job in deeper role Crooks - got the goal, lasted well, and great dancing at the end. I thought it was a very spirited performance and we had a couple of super chances to make sure we got the three points.
After a few drinks my nerves are a bit better. Anyway , WELL DONE BOYS . 1. Crooks - mainly for the goal, but he was a pain in the backside for portsmouth and played dirty when needed . 2. Egan - plenty of blocks and important challenges. Hughes has been mentioned as captain for next year but for me it's Egan and his experience. 3. Gelhardt- always a menace for their defence , unlucky not to score . Surprisingly subbed . Come on City
Didn't want to post my vote straight away as didn't want an emotional vote Puerta Crooks Egan But everybody put a shift in and did their job. If I based my votes on how well the player did under certain circumstances Macca would get it most weeks. Everyone knows he's not a left back but he just gets on with it and puts a proper shift in every time he plays a true pro and credit to the club
Puerta Gelhardt Egan Crooks wasn’t far off along with one or two others and thought Joseph showed some signs of potential future promise.
Five points for first choice, three for second, one for third. Puerta 124 Egan 91 Crooks 40 Hughes 16 Gelhardt 16 Coyle 9 Pedro 5 Joseph 1 McLoughlin 1 Pandur 1 Got the job done. That's all that matters. Season over. Now let us never talk of it again. I would just like to say thank you to everyone who voted over the season. Without your votes it would all have been a bit **** really. And thank you to Howden Tigress for posting a MOTM thread and collating the votes whilst I was otherwise engaged in the Himalayas.
