The atmosphere at The Valley today was the best it's been for years. Minimum 20,000 crowd, and the best connection between fans and players since Bowyers team went up, maybe even more so. TC got young POTY and Jones POTY, so much credit to NJ for turning it round when you think of the rock-bottom morale under Appleton, standing there with his hands in pockets watching us concede a late winner time after time. I liked the way the players all got round Mitchell and patted him on the head after his goal. After his horrible blunder for the penalty it was nice to see.

 

Was planning on going to this one , gutted I didn’t ! Will make sure of the playoffs home leg
