Ballard also offers a goal threat aswell as we saw today when he nearly scored. I wonder what it would take for him to finally play next to Mepham and put us all out our misery once and for all. I love Onien but having him play infront of Ballard is ridiculous.

Yeah Neil has struggled for a while now but I really doubt he'll be taken out the side.

100% with you on ELF. We would've been better off just signing a winger instead of him.

Me neither. ELF is clearly a very good footballer but out wide he struggles because of his lack of pace. Roberts pretty similarly struggles because he can't go down the line. Both of them doing the same thing makes it so easy to defend against. Jimmy Dunne and Jack Colback had them in their pockets.

Agreed. I love O'nein but thought our best pairing would be Ballard and Mepham. We never got there (only played it once?) and I think its too late to make that change now. Plus Regis clearly has his favorites - and I don't mean that in a bad Peter Reid sort of way - but I think he has things he likes - for example Ballard over Mepham. Again no complaints here, only discussion.

09 has been really poor for a while. Getting more and more wild. Just charging about and leaving space everywhere

Surprised he was there, but then again must have liked the line up, that being the factor lately

    Pathetic.

Season ticket nearly all my life, literally. Renewed for new year, took my son today. He wanted to leave 60 mins. Managed to stay till 89 but Christ it was ****ing ****. The team need to do better.

dodds aside the new assistant has 20 defending but 2 attacking and technique

    that might be the problem

We sit in a block basically and pounce

we haven’t pounced since the Leeds game as now it’s hesitation and ball retention over explosive forward progression

it’s ****e and if we play like this against Coventry and lose he has to go

I think the most dissapointing part is just quite how exciting we were at the start of this season. Makes the current performances feel just that much worse.

He played last night, didn’t go through to play today

I was at the game for 45 minutes, pointless being there. Another garbage performance. Manager clueless on the touchline

he is not worth an automatic start and hasn’t for some time

particularly now le fee is there and in a 442 him and jobe are perfectly fine, it’s a role he did at lorient

Neil got pathetically dispossessed in The first half today, was embarrassing

Well a very disappointing afternoon. I'm usually positive but other than picking up no injuries 90 mins for cirkin I really can't find any. Not sure why he swapped neil and jobe around neil has done well sitting in and jobe offers more further up the pitch. Rigg offered very little and le Fee wasted on the wing. I must say I was expecting a lot more today after the week away together working on things and having a few words in the dressing room after Oxford. Sadly after many yrs I should have realised it's safc I support. Any another bad day at the office but the play offs are a different set of games will be played in a different atmosphere and anything can happen. It's Coventry so let's get them beat and see who awaits in the final.

    Our record with and without Mundle;

    17 starts
    10wins 4draws 3losses

    Sub or not in squad
    29 games
    11wins 9draws 9losses
2 of those wins were with Clarke starting

Shows how important Mundle is. The lack of winger signing in January has really came back to bite us.

That's a shame in reply to my post. Doubt the same lot will be there to say so. If I did that would be hauled over the coals.

This for me, much more of a factor than Dodds. We simply can’t play without a pacey winger on the left if Roberts is RW and Rigg the 10
