RLB will 100% not get the chop this summer, regardless of the outcome of the playoffs. You dont get sacked for over-achieving in any, even semi-sensible, organisation. The club hierarchy is looking further back than the last two months, and further forwards than the next few games. Playoff's this season, comfortably, after last season, is a massive achievement. They spent months finding the type of manager they wanted, who was on board with the model, no chance they go through that again this pre season.
I think you might be right. If we go out in the playoff semis, it could be 50/50 whether he stays or goes. They are the difficult decisions that KLD and Speakman have to make and I trust them to do what they think is right for the club.
Remember RLB was literally 4th choice. Play offs will be seen as the expected outcome in his review with speakman I think.
Have to admit I like the bloke but something isn’t right. Whenever this has happened before everyone would be saying they are playing to get rid of the manager.
Wouldn’t be surprised at all if RLB goes. Remember they wanted to replace Mowbray with Farioli but caved to fan pressure, wrongly so (he's about to win the league with Ajax). If they want to make a change they should.
