Chambers has to be one of the worst signings since the 80s. Absolutely shocking player.

Just looking at the BBC stats.
While we've only had 40% possession, we've had more shots than Norwich, more shots on goal and twice as many touches in the box.
Interestingly, their keeper has made 3 saves and we haven't scored. Our keeper hasn't made a save and they've scored 3.

 

They've hit the woodwork twice as well.

Our defence is shocking.

Salech will be highly sought after this summer.

As will Lawlor in time.

 

10 men or not that was staggeringly poor defending.

Strange substitutions. One young lad on but Willock? No Simic.

 

We won the second half 2-1.

 

Feared a 6,7 nil there but fair play to City who played well 2nd half particularly Lawler, Salech, Ashford and Colwill.

 

5 teams lost more games than us this season.
Unfortunately, none won fewer.

While we bemoan our defending, those stats suggest it was our ability to score was the issue.

 

I thought Colwill was outstanding today.

He was dynamic and ran his socks off whereas Willock slows the game down to a walking pace - get rid!

 

Nobody is taking Chambers or Willock. We are lumbered with both.

Pity Chambers couldn't get sent off every week. Played better without him.

 

Horvath is another on big wages. One problem we’ve had all season (there have been plenty aside) is not having a decent keeper.

Any team to be successful needs a quality spine. At the moment we’ve got a decent striker (but for how long?) but the CB’s and keeper have been poor.

 

And no dominant central midfielder.

 

We’ll be ok next season Joe Ralls will anchor the midfield

 

Don't understand why Ramsey brought on Willock with 20 minutes to go. 4-1 down at the time and there was nothing to be learned about Willock that we don't already know. Far better to give a Perret or Simic a run out and learn something as we were already in League One before we kicked off today.

Outstanding final thread of the season Brizzle. You've spoiled us throughout the campaign and I like all of us on here, can't thank you enough.
Sorry I missed the drama of the final day and the days leading up to it. I had unexpected issues to deal with. I did look in once or twice though.
