The final countdown -can we do it V v Ashton Gate 12:30pm Saturday 3rd May 2025. Well it don’t get any better than this last game of the season and it is in the clubs hands to gain a playoff spot. Never in our wildest dreams did we expect this at the seasons start. Especially with the fact that our pre season recruitment in the striking department has been powderpuff. personally I’m truly amazed we sit in a playoff spot with the issues up front.Thank god Nahki Wells has been in fine form. Saturday will be the largest backing by city fans this season as we have been allocated seats in the ateyo stand. I just hope the Luton and Leeds performances are all forgotten and city get back to playing some fine football.
Can't watch the 2nd half tomorrow.....Grandad duties. Concerned about our recent form, particularly against Luton. It's a toss up whether we make the playoffs.
Our away form has dipped and I agree the Luton game was a ****show, but we were never going to get anything at Leeds - and our home form is up there with the best. In front of a sellout Ashton Gate crowd I fancy our chances. COYR!
if you had told me we would be in this position at the start of the season, i would have bitten your hand and half your bloody arm off, nothing to loose so lets give it a bloody good go and summon the ghosts of the old east end roar, coyr
Right my thread is on the PNE site, it's six years since we last won there, corresponded with my last visit, suspect scores from mobile phones may be the main game in town.Early get up 4.30 am be there or be square
Even if we don’t make the playoffs this season will go down as one that’s seen us make significant progress on what most people expected despite our obvious limitations in certain areas Are we really that much better than our pre season predictions said, or have we capitalised on the under achievement of other more fancied clubs ? Or is it a mixture of the two ? Either way, the pressure will be on from the off next season to deliver the same again, or with a few signings, hopefully better And if we do make the playoffs then it’s all to play for Up The City !
Ashton Gate Factor Will Make Bristol City Nervous Believes Preston Boss https://insidefutbol.com/2025/05/02...ol-city-nervous-believes-preston-boss/680689/
Someone decided to rearrange my offside back door yesterday evening, presently trying to arrange a hire car. Looks like a may be watching from home.
Very busy around Ashton Gate today -a big day for the football club. Time to stand tall man for man-fight for every ball -tackle as if your life depends on it-time for you to perform.
My train from Hereford to BTM had a lot of PNE fans. All in good spirits, they started chanting “we’re going with Cardiff” as we crossed the border
In the Tobacco factory sat in the sun with Mrs R&W with a cold one. Usually go to the El Rincon tapas bar but it was absolutely rammed! Really looking forward to the game - but a little nervous! COYR!
