Yes. So why would France accept them?

They shouldn’t. They should turn them away at their illegal point of entry into France.

The problem with the debate about the legality of migrants and returning them is that it eventually escalates to "gun them down in the sea", people want the problem sorted and the longer it anchors into normal politics the more radical solutions seem palatable.

Labour need to offload McSweeney for someone who cares about redistribution and Starmer and Reeves for people with positive energy.
The opportunity and gap exists on the left. Just get cash off the wealthy and sort out the economy that way. There’s public support for this but the Labour leadership are in hock to big business.

Let’s see how they do. I bet you any money we find that they have appointed thick bastards. I quote the new Humber mayor. ‘Things can’t get any worserer’. We’re about to find out. He’ll be doing what Eton Nigel tells him to while representing the working class.

Maybe they might have a proper DOGE, not the normal pol party austerity, but swear words to pol class prod improvements, get rid of none jobs, duplicate jobs and replace others with new tech, instead of the last 14 years where message just past down the live with people at the bottom laid off.

Many arrive by sea as they do here ...

... France has half a dozen land borders and 3,000 miles of coastline.

They also enter via the endless roads and passes between Italy and France.

They don't want illegal immigrants any more than we do and they don't all want to leave.

The NHS is not free, a shed load of your tax funds it. Thinking it"s free is part of the problem, we pay for it and should demand better service.

I heard that they’re rocking up in Scotland without passports and getting picked up in Bentleys. And given free bus passes. May not be illegals mind.

I’ve just watched Farage do a question and answer with the newspapers a few days before the council elections,
They did far better than he was predicting,
Didn’t disagree with much he said, which surprised me.
