I see a bright young coach has won his first international honours. Well done Simon Grayson on securing the Nepalese championship at the first attempt. Great achievement. I hope if Regis gets poached we have this rising star on our list of candidates.
I’ve know little about him but that looks like they're taking a convenient flyer … … I wonder if they’ll sell their two stars.
Played at that ground. Not that bad mate. At least playing as a 17 year old and being chased round the pitch by a neanderthal with metal studs I got some steps in and kept warm Nepal - a 6 game championship! Must be mad. I bet away trips are fun. Right lads, ready up, we need to climb over Everest for the Tuesday night game And we moan about Plymouth...
Still think Leeds will replace Farke Sheff Utd could replace Wilder if they stay down Wouldn't surprise me if we make a change if we are poor in the semi final WBA will appoint someone soon Boro I think will sack Carrick Think Röhl will leave Sheff Wed Norwich will appoint someone soon Wouldn't be surprised if Watford sack Cleverley, they shouldn't though QPR will replace Cifuentes Preston should sack Heckingbottom Cardiff will appoint someone soon
Think wilder might be given summer, but fans aren’t happy. can’t see many fans giving RLB any more time. We have to perform well next two, or sadly I think he’s gone. agree with the rest.
Definitely thought RLB would be in place come September but maybe in trouble with a bad start. But with this form and if the semi final goes badly, I can definitely see KLD pulling the trigger. Can’t decide if I’d agree with it or not. Can see both arguments and I wanted so badly for it to work out with Regis. I hope it still does.
It would be harsh to sack him, even if we do fail in the play offs. I am a massive advocate for consistency in coaching. What I would say though is the drop off in performance level has been stark. The last 2 games show it clearly. Even the ones who are ultra consistent, like say Hume, seem to have gone backwards. It does look to me like a deliberate change has been made in tactical setup, to play much deeper and go longer, has really hampered our playing style, and our players. We show signs of trying to get back to the early season style of high intensity and lots of triangles, but it isnt easy to switch. He will be judged at the end of the season. Right now he still has promotion in his hands, but I think he needs to find a way to score goals - that is our glaring weakness, and swapping Neil and Jobe positionally was one of the oddest experiments.
I’ve had enough of RLB, his press conferences and post match comments are dire, and repeated every week. Time to go Regis. Bart
If we stay down then either RLB has to commit to a completely different style of play or bring in someone who will. As I've previously said on here, the last time a team went up automatically from the Championship who averaged less than 50% possession was Cardiff in 17/18 under Warnock. Also, only one team has been promoted through the playoffs while averaging less than 50% throughout the season since 16/17 (that's how far FotMobs data goes back), which was Luton in 22/23 under Edwards. Possession is king. Whether that's to create chances, like Leeds, or to stop the opposition from scoring, like Burnley.
