Will be interesting to see if we start Nunez in any of the 4 games. If we don't would the rumours of us trying to cheap out on add-ons could be true.

Trent has made his own mind up, we just don't know yet. I would guess that slot has his plans very much in mind and is looking to fdg to pony up Bajcetic is long since
Not sure if this is in response to my post about Nunez, but my point is that it would clarify the situation to us. Whether it's long since decided or not, we are not officially informed of the decision - but if Nunez doesn't get any more games, then it's pretty clear he's out.
Agreed. And even if he does start probably doesn’t answer the question either as more likely putting him in the shop window than anything. I think unless we can’t get any offers for him he’ll be off. Just not quite what slot wants and fair enough. As much as he’s a bit of a cult hero and can’t fault his effort, he’s just not consistent enough to be starting 30 league games a year. As an option, sure he’s better than most other teams 5th choice forward but if it’s get rid and find an upgrade that suits slot then no brainer.
My view is thst jota has gone to the bench and Diaz has come in at 9. If thst doesn't scream he is out, nothing does.
If there is a add on clause and if he is likely to leave in the summer, we'd be stupid to start him. I'd fully expect the club to protect the coffers and our financial interests.
It's only logical. None of the kids are cutting it. nobody is exciting anyone as a squad player so something has to change. I think we all agree on the position the first 11 need to improve on.
Unless we don't want to risk him getting injured. I imagine we're looking to get quite a wedge for him, which might have a knock-on effect on our other plans.
