How did they manage to arrange the calendar so two of my three least favourite events are back to back?! And it’s a sprint!

This one should be McLaren territory, similar to Bahrain so will be interesting to see if Norris can hit back. A friend reminded me earlier this week, that this was a track where Piastri impressed last year, despite only having a partial upgrade he was in the mix until he lost out and Norris benefited from the safety car. In my mind I’d been expecting this one to be a Norris track, because he’d won last year.

Three one off liveries for this event Racing Bulls (very pink!), Sauber (ok), Ferrari (urgh). I’ll pop some pics up if I have time later.

The Sauber looked best before they spilt green paint all over it.

    But the RB, yuck !

If you ignore the wheels (and what it’s replacing) I think the RB looks ok (but I appreciate that hinges totally on your opinion about pink).

Normal Sauber looks rubbish, this is better imho, but I do also see the appeal of a raw carbon car - brings images of a SR-71 "Blackbird" to mind.

Hats off to whoever managed to make an already terrible looking Ferrari look worse.

It's like the Racing Bulls had a battle between 2 departments. One won and it's pink, but the others who made the video made the background pink so the car is camouflaged :).
The Ferrari looks like an apprentice was told they need to add HP branding to the back of the car and they just draped the HP colours over the back and added a couple of extra bits for good measure.

My wife just referred to George Russell as "the Kier Starmer of F1", and it gave me a chuckle.

Yes Kimi! Was just thinking today that Mercedes have been reining him in it seems. He’s been - “slow” and steady- rather than the - rapid, but inconsistent - that I’d expected; looks like the leash has come off.

Toto really loves him, doesn’t he? Don’t recall when I last saw him look so happy.

Must agree with you about Kimi`s slow and steady start. It was if just that first shunt at Monza in the first practice session that weekend.
He probably thought to himself "This is a whole world of difference from F2,so I`d better take it slow and steady" and it seems to have paid off.
I don`t think he`s put a foot wrong since. Well done Kimi,on your first sprint pole,a certain World Champion of the not too distant future.

Minging out there. When even Max goes off. Presume this red doesn’t mean Charles can rejoin?

Yep, he’s out. There’s no way they could repair the car in time even if he was allowed to rejoin .

I lived in Miami for 6 months, it rained every day, really pissed it down. 30 mins later skies were blue, 10 minutes after that, you wouldn't know it had rained.
If they start on inters, the first to slicks wins.
Might not even be ready for GP Quali.

Lewis in that Ferrari is slower than an arthritic slug. He’d be better off trying to gamble on slicks before anyone else

A bit of a shambles by Red Bull there. Hamilton might have just made a great decision to come in for slicks before the leaders
