Well that killed the wum potential in one fell swoop... are you available for birthday parties and carnivals?
A salutary lesson in 'engage brain before opening gob' ... https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/c4grdp20gm9o
That’s how I see it going Defo wouldn’t be giving up yet Partey coming back will be huge for you guys imho
Our MF was really unbalanced without Partey, we didn’t have a DM and for their goal they just waltzed through our MF, something over not really seen happen this season with Partey in the team. With Partey in the team, Rice and Odegaard can concentrate on their game. Last night we had them both tracking back to receive the ball and then build tippy tappy from our own 3rd, by which time PSG has regrouped and just shut down our attacks We need to go to Paris and take risks, we know that. But I think playing that way will give PSG much more to think about they we offered them last night.
Ange talking **** again..... https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/cly5q9n3437o The 59-year-old also says Tottenham's success in Europe is being "diminished" by some people amid the backdrop of their league form. He added: "I am really strong at the moment on the parallel worlds we are trying to traverse and I have sensed, which is not surprising because this is the way this club is perceived, people are almost trying to diminish it in some respects. "I have seen some people saying it is the equivalent of Manchester United winning the FA Cup, no. Not on any planet is it equivalent. That is suggesting that maybe we are not worthy of Champions League. You aint worthy of a place in the Champions League. I mean, you will have earned it, but if you take this seasons form into the CL, good luck with that buddy. Why is this clown still a PL manager?
Frankfurt, Roma and Galatasaray while you’ve been playing teams that make the furniture start flying around when you say their names.
That competition looks easier to win than finishing top 4 in the PL, so if Newcastle land in it, I'll be fine with it. If Man United or Tottenham can't win that then that I'll be very surprised.
Not having the CL failure dropouts has killed those two comps There has been a fundamental misunderstanding of the competitions when it was the old iteration of Euro cup it was just champions (how I believe it should be) But that meant the UEFA (now Europa) was teams in 2nd and maybe 3rd so in essence teams that are now still in the CL The CWC was always weird mix due to it being the Cup Winners the conference is an absolute joke Lovely for the winners but dear goodness me the Europa needs teams to have stuffed up in the league for it to have decent competitors - This season two of the ‘favourites’ are in the bottom 5 of the league - that’s **** this year that is damning
Whats weird was that the CWC took precedence over the UEFA Cup as well, meaning if you finished 2nd but won the FA Cup, you went into the CWC, NOT the UEFA Cup.
Winning the league cup involved beating Forest, Chelsea, Brentford, Arsenal twice and Liverpool, so that shows how **** the Europa league is if you're playing Bodo Glimt in a semi final.
