I keep promising myself to alter the "Bull in field" notice a local famer has placed across a foot path about a mile away from us.

There's been no ruddy livestock of any kind in the field during the nearly 3 years we've been here. Only a shabby caravan and car on bricks.

Maybe I'll just add "sh*t" to the bull part of his notice.

Sign on local farmer's gate: "We don't charge for entry into this field.....but the bull may"

Laying in bed, reading a book at midnight and just had to Google a comment in the book, that made reference to a gift shop in the Los Angeles Coroners building.
I thought it couldn’t be true. A gift shop at the morgue?
    WRONG.
Apparently it was there for almost 20 years, closing in May 2019.
They monetise anything in America. The most popular line, I believe, was their beach towel with a body outline on it. <laugh>

Talking of things I should have known, but somehow never did. I didn't realize that Venice was made on top of wood 'stilts'. Can't believe I never knew that and am flabbergasted by it. Only 56 years late to the knowledge that it seems everyone knows!

Just watched the Lancaster and the Red Arrows fly past from our top window in Fallen London. Lincs would have enjoyed that!

My wife just turned to me and said, "I was talking to you and you yawned six times, am I boring you?"

I said, "Those were not yawns, those were six unsuccessful attempts to speak."

Anyone ever had a problem with skybet withdrawing funds. Recently changed over from bet 365 , deposit went fine and I won a fair chunk over bank holiday. Now I've come to withdraw they asked for verification which was no problem, but they simply won't accept it, even though it's recent driving licence and bank statement. Now my account is under "review" for some unknown reason.
