Seen a few answers for 11 but seem to remember mention of it being Gandhi on a television programme.
Auckland is further south than Melbourne.

The John Lennon one was A Day In The Life. I am old enough to remember him mentioning it at the time,<laugh>

He injected the first patients with matter collected from sore of a milk maid infected with cow pox. However, he was inoculating them against Small Pox as he'd noticed people who'd been infected with cow pox were immune to small pox. The word vaccine is derived from the Latin word for cow - Vacca.

*Sorry blame what ever BBC podcast on vaccines I listened to <laugh>

I always thought it was Ben-Hur so I just looked it up and I was wrong that's only tenth.

    Spoiler:

The 1982 movie version of Gandhi had a cast of 300,000....credits must have taken hours <laugh>

Doubt it'll ever be exceeded now when you can just CGI in crowds.

If you add together all those things, it's still well below the almost 1m people a year killed by mosquitos.
