Aye but none are streamed live on a Saturday. Rule been in place since the 60s. They were on about dropping it but don't think they ever did.
TBH there is that much football on various channels now, I have no idea (not unusual for me) As an example I rang the hospital yesterday to cancel an appointment for tomorrow (Wednesday), the receptionist (who was a nice lass explained my appointment was for today) so I said yes I can make it today. Turned up, my appointment was 50 minutes late, then the consultant said he didnt know why I was there, must have been a glitch in the system! I did have 2 pints in the town so it wasnt all bad
The 3pm blackout is the main reason why all the Championship games this weekend kick off at half 12 so that Sky can show all of them live
I thought I'd seen it was a half 12 kick off which is pretty **** to be fair. Can't remember where I saw that though so will try to remind it
Actually think I'm getting confused with the last game of the season kick off times. I'm hoping for 3pm but would probably prefer 17:30 to 12:30
I'll be driving down the Saturday morning and staying Saturday night. Will have my 9 year old with me so gives me more time in the morning to get down with traffic etc and he won't have to be up late travelling back. 3 would be ok but the extra time would be handy.
17.30 KO would be very messy if we had Boro or Coventry after all day drinking maybe this is why they are delaying the announcement.
Thats just disgusting towards supporters, I realise we are not there yet, and may not get there, but what the hell are these idiots playing at?
I can only assume for whatever reason they're not able to confirm a kick off time without police sign off and police won't sign it off until they know which clubs they are.
Its still disgusting, they should have showed a backbone and told the police it has to be announced, but no, it doesnt matter, the supporters will just have to pay for how ****e they are
Doesn’t matter how much backbone you have if police hold all the cards. Alternative is you announce the kick off time and then the police change it. Cue uproar for everyone who has to change their plans. Damned if you do and all that.
Why shoud the police care, there are going to be 80,000 people there, let them sort it accordingly, its not a derby match, sorry I cant agree with you
So why havnt the EFL just given them a time for kick off? This is costing football supporters a lot of money
