Probably said before but Egypt for our 20th anniversary in June, we went there for our 10th and the wife reckons it was our best holiday ever, then at the end of the year heading over to Australia and hopefully watch a couple of days at Sydney cricket ground and catch up with family. Stopping off at Kuala Lumpur for New Year on the way out and Dubai on the way home
Sat in Fig Tree bay enjoying a nice glass of freshly squeezed orange juice watching the world go by. Wife’s nice and bronzed and happy, daughter is twisting about no internet connection but I couldn’t be happier right now. Love these quality times with my family. Hope you lot are all looking forward to yours
Not a summer holiday as such but back to Disneyland Paris next march and I’ve just been looking at flights.. they are astronomical compared to when I was there earlier in the year! No idea what’s happened there but the prices out of Paris are insane
not a summer holiday but off to Keswick next week for a days, looking going to Lake Como in August coz why not
did it once, love it there, and its all the better and me dad cousin has a house there we can rent for F&F rates
Not that I’m counting but six weeks and five days until we fly to Bali. Got 12 days there and it can’t come soon enough.
If you keep walking or driving past surprise view you will come to a farm with a cafe on the tarn, if you haven’t been it’s beautiful.
Cheers We tend to get the boat down to Lorde and the Mary mount for a coffee before walking to Portinscale
Spectacular storm here over the coast, would think the world is ending the way the wife and daughter are going on but watching it across the bay from the balcony is class, tried to get them to see it from my point of view but apparently I’m crackers ! Fork lightning right across the bay lighting the night sky, looks tremendous
Love watching a great thunderstorm. Hope you turned the tv off in case the aerial gets hit by lightning!
We had our 25th wedding anniversary at Mary mount, they also own the pub in Brathwaite, the Coledale inn, it’s canny in there as well just outside of Keswick.
Done Cat bells a few times, my favourite is Castle crag, then pop in to the Yew tree farm for a lamb and mint pasty or casserole
