I’d get Doue off if I were Enrique, keeps trying to dribble even in his own box/ half and is constantly losing it, Barcola on at 60-65 I reckon.
He is some player, so many excellent young French players about but he is great to watch going to be a star.
Wait a minute, Timber should've been sent off...and Legohead subbed him off, instead of keep him on for the traditional spawny late equaliser?
If Arsenal spent less time trying to gee up their silent fans and more time trying to play football, they may have done a bit better! Arteta complaining about time wasting is one of the best sights in the game.
A player who I thought really let Arsenal down last night was Odegaard. He’s a very talented and creative mid who can split defences open with a pass in a sort of Eriksen-esque fashion but he just hid yesterday for them. Considering he’s their captain too iirc, it just wasn’t good enough for someone who should’ve been setting an example and looking to make things happen. Trossard isn’t a ST/ CF obviously but he had almost zero service from his team’s main creator, it often fell to Saka (****ing hate how good he is) to be the one trying to carve openings. PSG are just so good to watch though, as much as I despise that lot they’re a very good side and yet PSG by and large controlled the game barring a couple moments. I haven’t enjoyed watching a side as much as them for a few years now. Enrique’s done wonders when you consider that they probably have the best front three in Europe right now - just two years after having a front three of Messi, Neymar and Mbappe. Their midfield dynamic is great too, Gomes does a lot of mopping up, Vitinha takes on a sort of Modric role and Ruiz is similar albeit a bit more advanced. I seriously hope they win the CL, not just because it means they’ll have knocked Arsenal out but purely because they really are making football enjoyable to watch in an era where I’m losing a lot of interest in watching my own team and many others.
****ing hell, I've just seen the "inspirational" video Arseteta did ahead of last night's nonformance...
Inter showing possession isn’t as important as some might claim. Barely touched the ball in 20 mins but find themselves 2-0 up at Barca.
