The club seem to have been treating this last month like a pre-season -getting everyone fit and rested. Even a short trip abroad. If we replicate the performances of the first 4 games of the season then no one will touch us over the next 4 games and we'll be home and dry.

Can't wait for Saturday. Let's get back on the goal trail Lads!

    Leeds Champions and rightly so.

Personally, I'd love Boro to beat Coventry only for Millwall to grab an injury time winner at Burnley. Hope Blackburn only draw. They've come from nowhere to be in the mix for the play offs, so rather they didn't make it. Hoping for Bristol City to finish 5th, Millwall 6th. Us v Blades in the final.

Really want Luton to drop- horrible kernts. My fear is that WBA are in free-fall. Think it's between Luton, Hull and Preston. I don't see all 3 of them winning, and Derby have a better GD than any of the 3, so a boring draw between Stoke and Derby will probably be enough for both of them. Pompey have nowt to play for, so Hull might sneak an away win, like they did at our place. Preston have had loads of 0-0 draws this season, so they might get a point. That just leaves Luton :emoticon-0149-no:

It’s all a matter of nerves isn’t it.

Everyone seems to be struggling whereas we simply weren’t good enough, for the top two, especially with the injuries we had.

Sheff Utd’s form has been poor but you’d think they have enough to give it a go. But the rest all had terrible results when it came to the crunch.

Of them all Bristol will be panicking the most in my opinion …

… they celebrated after our game like they’d made the playoffs. One of their supporters lived on here for days <laugh>

They’ll be shiiting their pants on Saturday.

Sheffield United losing to Burnley has given them time to rest a few players. So, I would expect them to be ready for the semi-finals.

Bristol City were ran ragged by Leeds last night as well. That might be a factor on Saturday and in the Play Off games which are coming shortly after. Back to back defeats for them too.
Nerves have been jangling at Coventry and Boro have nothing to lose. It's really exciting this ending, particularly when we're not involved in the final day melee. I'll have one eye on the match and another on my phone on Saturday, if I can get a bloody signal in the SOL. <laugh>

Is it fair to assume most on here would prefer to play Bristol in the P/O semi's.... For me, I think they are the weakest, so for me, yes, would much prefer to play them rather than Coventry/Boro or even Millwall at this stage

Definitely Bristol City would be my preference, followed by Millwall and Boro. Don't want to face Coventry or Blackburn.

Bristol would be good with the same ref who has realised his error and wants to even things up a bit.

I think Bristol would currently be 10th without that win against ten men …

    No way
    - that ref should be demoted to League 1 - where he belongs

If Derby lose 2-0 and Hull draw they’ll be level on GD and points …

… Derby have won one more game and scored five more goals.

On what basis do Derby stay up?

Ha ha what have L1 teams done to deserve him?

While we’re on the subject of refs, don’t particularly want any Prem refs in the playoffs. Because of VAR they’ve lost the ability to make decisions.

I don’t want the referee who didn’t know why he disallowed Isidor’s goal at Derby …

… or the one who chatted to the Burnley players while Trafford changed his gloves for the same ones.

After goal difference the next step is goals scored.

With regards to refs, I saw an Oxford player screaming in the refs face "That was ****ing ****!" it probably was, but compare that with the reaction of the wallaby ****er when Dan Neil questioned a decision from 20 yards away

Head to head record. Then most away goals in head to head. Then neutral ground match and if level after 90 minutes it is down to a supping contest.

    I think <laugh><laugh>
