I’ve just been reading how Everton fans sabotaged the Liverpool celebrations with blue flares inside and outside of Anfield.

    That’s good bantz, tbf.

Saw it on TV - it was a sea of blue flares, Everton fans causing chaos and riot police trying to shield the poor Liverpool fans from the vigilante Everton ultras. Honest, like.

Yeah, it did look staged, although I ignored that as it seemed a fun thing to do.

I’m normally quite good on my random football trivia and didn’t know about their stuff pre-war which I have a train home now to read about.

I think Preston (PNE), Spurs, Aston Villa and Arsenal were the first four teams to do the double, so I knew they had all won titles. I didn't know Sunderland had won the top tier, despite it being 6 times! I probably did know Everton had in the 80's but in all truth can't remember it.

I'll be surprised that those fighting for top 5 ain't involved IF we get to the final but have no idea why we have requested it tbh...it makes us look arrogant as **** ... like we're already in the final and it don't matter whether we win or lose.
Yet another how not to master class from us <laugh>

Chelsea were champions of England in 1955 when the first European Cup tournament was announced.
We were forbidden by the Football League from taking part though, they didnt think it would take off.......dicks
