Wonder where sharky is? Perhaps went to uni and can enlighten us on Lincoln city next season? Or decided to run marathons for mental health? Just a hunch mind. Apologies if I'm wrong.
Looking forward to the mass-exodus then when the club has to put passes up then. Might not have to queue for the street food.
We were never in for cannon at 7m. 2.5m on a striker is a lot of money for a non parachute club. Particularly in January and particularly when under psr pressure.
Had a chat with someone last night to see what was going on. We’re in a total mess. I didn’t realise just what mess we were in. Acun is leaving either way in the summer. He gambled, lost and then lost interest. I personally don’t think that will mean administration but that’s just my own personal view. I think we MAY see Ehab come back in but we’ll see. Let’s hope we get a positive result on Saturday. It’s absolutely huge. I would actually say it may be one of the biggest games in our recent history.
Interesting he was there against Derby despite losing interest. I'd have thought he'd stay away if that was entirely true - unless his interest now is just in terms of recouping his finances as much as possible perhaps. He may want to leave in the summer but unless there's a buyer lined up regardless of the division, that may not be the case. Even with his purchase of the club it took quite a while to ratify so I would have thought we'd have heard something by now if a sale was that far down the line. Appreciate the insight by the way, I'm not doubting you or your source necessarily, I'm just trying to make sense of it all.
I know, me neither, which is why I said yesterday that I thought if/when he did leave he would find us a buyer. I guess I just didn’t realise the mess we were in.
Tan pocketed money out of the Jaden deal in order to buy the club off Acun. He's the real hero of the story.
Not going to worry about stuff (wild rumours) that don't directly affect me and that i can have no influence on. Why should I take on board a whole load of unsubstantiated rumours and start panicking, worrying and posting on here largely to myself all through the night. As the Tickler said TWT. Oh and never had a pass to bin.
Would be funny if Kesler was the voice of reason after all and the real reason he left ‘mutually’ was because he didn’t want to blow smoke up Acun’s arse anymore after every piss-poor decision.
I did see recently that one of the supposed reasons Kessler left was he disagreed strongly with the Rosenior sacking..
Was it actually Kesler who pulled the alarm? I know there were jokes on here during the livestream but it would be funny if it was actually done on purpose by Kesler.
The first red flag for me about Acun was when he said he didn’t have the patience for a long-term project or plan. That’s not ‘unsubstantiated rumour’ either; he actually said that in an interview. Seems he bought the club with credit, financed it with credit and expected to get promotion to the Premier League in a few years and the money from promotion would pay off the debt and then some, or he would flip us for a profit. He gambled, he failed but it is us that will suffer.
