Welcome to el crapico; the meeting of 2 of the worst sides in PL history... whose going to be the biggest embarrassment here, and suffer an ignominious loss against our fellow crap? As Charity FC roll up to the King Power Stadium, the Leicester mob will no doubt be confident of at least a 1st home goal since December when Russell Martin was still in charge of us... what feels like an eternity ago. Or are Leicester so bad, they'll actually lose to the mighty Saints, and we'll finally vanquish the spectre of Derby County's record low tally ... Roll up, roll up ... the circus known as el crapico is now in town.
I’m going to stick my neck out and say, without actually checking, that this is the first time in PL history that two teams have met in match #35 with a combined points total of less than 30.
I like the idea of a gentleman’s agreement on a 1-1 draw. They finally get to score at home, we get the point we need and they get to help keep Derby as the standalone worst ever team. Everyone’s a winner!? Except Robbie Savage. It’s almost poetic. However, apparently Vardy needs 2 goals to hit 200 and so, coupled with them not scoring at home since early December…well…we all know what happens next.
Leicester to score their first home goal since December!? Almost a dead cert I’d say & probably more like “buses”. I’d like to think there’s a bit of fight in Saints now but I’m more inclined to feel the stars will align for Steptoe more than any of our dimwits. I live in hope tho.
0-0 H/T Saints 1-0 up into the last 20 minutes 2-1 Leicester. F/T Happy clappers on twitter continue to harp on about improvements under Rusk and how it wouldn't be that bad a shout to keep him. **** SR
