Problems in Portugal …

… with airports closed and major disruption ensuing.

Police have issued a photo-fit of a pasty-faced Sheffield man believed to be the culprit.

“Huge power outages have hit large parts of Spain and Portugal. Airports have lost power, traffic lights and phone lines are down, the Madrid underground has been evacuated and trains have been stopped.”

Do we know if the team are already in Portugal, might be an idea to side step this and spain

Yeah my friend messaged our group chat this morning asking if I and a few others based in Belgium and Denmark had power. We were like yeah.. why wouldn’t we? Then he told us what had happened, apparently it was pretty much all of Portugal and a lot of Spain. Locals were saying Russian cyber-attack at first, I said I don’t think anyone cares enough about Portugal to attack you

 

My eldest and her mates are due to fly to Faro early tomorrow morning

 

My son is going to Alicante tomorrow am. Told him to get a back up plan.

 

I assume air traffic control has a little back up genny round the back somewhere

 

I just had a look at arrivals for Faro, quite a few landed today so hopefully they will both get to their destination safely

 

More get to Amsterdam or Berlin. He deserves a break.
