    Who watched the fight?

    I didn't think Eubank won it, certainly not by four rounds. A draw would have been fair.

    I thought Eubank edged it, especially in the last two rounds. I wouldn't have been surprised if it might have been given as a draw though. Benn handled the defeat well afterwards and can hold his head up high. He jumped up a weight which put him at a great disadvantage and he didn't use Eubank's size difference as an excuse.

    I had Benn ahead after 9 rounds. Eubank finished the stronger, but for the judges to give him 8 rounds to 4 was bollocks.

    Should have been a draw.

    There was never four rounds difference. You couldn't split them after ten rounds.

    Boxing judges rarely score rounds even, the jab if it lands repeatedly will outscore a big hitter so it seems Eubanks was edging the closer rounds whereas Benn's strong start eventually fizzled out. Often clever boxers step up the final minute of a round to catch the judges eye. There were probably two or three rounds that might have been fairly even but I'd bet Eubanks did more in the last minute to nick them. With the money involved there'll be a rematch...

    Neither of those ****s should be anywhere near the main event of a big stadium PPV and Benn shouldn’t be fighting at that weight.

    My immediate thought was four rounds’ difference was a bit much but it’s a fair point that it depends on what judges are looking for and Eubank was getting the volume of punches in if not the showy big punches which were too rare from Benn to win. Still think maybe 2 rounds was the difference but makes no difference.

    The stats back up the judges;

    Punches thrown 912 - 593
    Punches landed 367 - 215

    Once Eubanks started pinning him on the jab the only way Benn could win was by KO...

    I agree with you neither fighter has anywhere near the quality of their fathers...

    United losing 1 nil at the Cherries with a couple of minutes remaining

    Wrong manager wrong players wrong system

    Spurs will probably smash Liverpool later, that's the Spurs thing to do

    Massive 2-0 against Bristol City after 70 minutes and heading for the title.... Massive have had 75% possession 17 attempts on goal and 8 on target..... Bristol have had 0 attempts on goal..... the gulf in quality is just as huge between 1st and 5th as it was on Saturday...... depressing

    The days of the likes of Barnsley, Bradford or Blackpool making it to the Premier League are long gone. Birmingham might have a chance with the Yanks money behind them but they'll have to do it next season before FFP gets them. Probably three or four teams outside the yo-yos might get lucky but the odds are lengthening every year. As you say, 'depressing'...
