It doesn't really matter. We need at least a point and defeat for Luton and/or Preston. I can't see two of the three happening. Pompey have picked up over the last few months and they're decent at home, and whilst they've only won two more games than us they tend to score at least a couple when they are victorious

 

I can see us getting a 0-0 draw and then crossing our fingers as we see other results come in

 

They can still finish ahead of us though.

I’ve just read somewhere that since November Portsmouth have the best home record apart from Leeds.

Portsmouth have the 9th best home record over the season, we have the 8th best away..

 

How's that translate to the second half of the season?

 

Not sure on the home/away split but they've only won 4 more points than us in the second half of the season and as we've continued to do pretty well away from home (until very recently) I'd imagine it's still pretty close.

 

Form going into it has to favour them.

But then we've got something to fight for.

Expecting a draw, and it'll be down to Preston being more sh*t than us.

 

Okay thanks Syd,I think the article I read read which was regarding City going there for the last game of the season said home form since November. Regardless of this though it is what it is and for us it’s a championship match against another championship team which if we want to have any chance of staying up then we have to get at least a point.

 

Just looking at the Preston forum and the doom and gloom of anticipating relegation is worse than on here

I genuinely think it’s them or us. I don’t see Luton losing and I don’t see Preston winning.

They might get a point but even then it relies on Derby losing to Stoke.
