I'll give them credit the day they give us some mate, which will be the 32nd of Never. "Bad day to be a Mackem" was doing the rounds when the won the cup. They stomped their feet until they get what they wanted and it worked for them, Rafa, Ashley oot and the eventual takeover. The photo on the pitch when they beat us in the FA cup showed me how small minded the club is. Not having a dig at your comment mate, infact I respect it, but for me they can f**k off.
Right there's no meaningful rivalry at this point. After the 5-1 Bruce game I went home and wanted to do nothing except lie down for hours. After the 3-0 FA Cup game I was just sad that there wasn't really a good reason to be upset about it. That's what we've lost. Even a win now would be seen as 'giant killing' and that is in no way right either.
Oxford fans dont seem to like the mags mind, said they are delusional. As did the old man city fan I was chatting to in the pub.
I can tell you exactly what's happening there, having seen this cowardly routine first hand before. He's the carer for the poor lad in the wheelchair who he's 'hiding behind' in plain sight. He knows no one will attack or abuse him outside or inside the ground. How pathetic that, on such a big day for the Oxford fans, he thinks his pathetic infantile little grudge is far more important.
When we played at Peterborough I was waiting for a taxi with Grumpy Old Man, there was a thirty year old tattooed Mag in town with his shirt on. He had a ten year old son who also had a shirt on. He was having digs at passing Sunderland fans. Sadly I bit and asked him into the taxi firms car park. He started ranting that I was attacking him 'in front of the poor bairn'. I told him he was only wearing the shirt because he was hiding behind the bairn ... ... he's probably still confused.
Haha i think id have done the same aswell. What kind of bloke would put his 10 year old son through something like that. They really are the lowest of the low them lot.
It's not just cowardly, he's actually teaching his son that hatred, and abusing people, is a good thing.
At some point also, a home fan will get sick of the stupidity, like you say it was Oxfords day, home fan will attack a mag.....then receive a banning order for simply biting & doing what an awful lot of normal people would. Have seen it at a few aways now, soon as mag top comes out, decent stewards or cops drag them out as its inciting something that has no relevance to current game
As I pointed out to the police, inside the Coventry ground, it’s clearly ‘behaviour liable to cause a breach of the peace’. Not only that it states in the ground regulations that tickets, in home sections, are for home supporters and people can be ejected on that basis. They invariably do f*ck all but threaten to eject you for calling the referee a tosser … … even when it’s clearly true
Its just bizarre you would spend a decent amount to go watch a club you hate, then not even watch the game as your so hell bent on showing off a club shirt who aren't playing there, yet have a game at exactly the same time
Don’t like looking at the ****s when we’re playing them let alone if they’re playing anyone else, proper weirdo behaviour
So , we can understand the ‘ Mackem in Milan” reasoning …… but — they really spreading their idiocrisy like this? . Can’t they accept we have supporters all over the world ?
Who is that gimp? Have you ever seen a mag in a bath? Its easy this game Oh and my daughter and grandson were in Japan in January, but they dont wander the streets in a gravy stained football shirt for weeks at a time
