Match Day Thread Brighton v Newcastle United

Tricky one this

 

You know me, but I genuinely think Newcastle will lose this one.

 

We have struggled against them in the past and it’s a tough match, but we’re starting to get a proper squad and could have enough for a narrow win.

 

We could easily destroy them

 

A draw would be ok.

But I think we can win this.

 

Agree. I would have had this as a loss a handful of weeks ago but we're in great form (despite playing pretty poorly at times) and Brighton are all over the place. They needed that win today (scraped past a woeful West Ham tem at home) as they've been poor for a couple of months now:



As such I can see a draw (1-1) being most likely, I think it'll be a good game.

Osula looks like a very very RAW talent. And he looks hungry. And has some character.

I think he’s going to be a good player for us.

 

Brighton had a lucky win today and they've been in bad form for a while, I think we'll win.

 

We should have this. Brighton have been appalling recently so if we show up then the 3 points should follow us home

 

Need to make sure we win this one! Think Eddie will have the boys bang up for it after the cup debacle but Brighton always seem to play well against us. Hoping for a sneaky 2-1 win!

The Chelsea game, if we were to win.. could all but seal our CL place potentially.
