This is it for me, hostile crowd means a self fulfilling prophecy. Surely we have to keep in mind that we are in the playoffs and not to get on their backs too much.
The disconnect between Neil and Jobe, and then from everyone to Isidor is really worrying. Neil had some d cent touches but no outlet, Jobe had 2 men on him all game. We need to solve that
Just got a sneaky feeling Mayenda will be our trump card... Sadly Wilson's confidence is shot to pieces... Lets see....all will be revealed
I think that's pretty much what we'll start with ... ... although, for the away leg, I'd rather have Roberts than Watson tracking back.
Don't think Mundle will be fit enough and I'm pretty sure Rigg will start. Roberts is a shoe in for some reason so he'll definitely start, just don't see what he brings at all, 2 shots all season from counter attack is not what we need for an away leg.
We've been saying for a while this will go down to the wire and it's really looking that way. I'm booked to go to the QPR game but half wish I could watch it all at home. Some of the games will be crazy. If Bristol lose at Leeds, on Monday, they could play Preston at home needing a win to make the playoffs ... ... but Preston could go down, if they lose, and won't know they're safe until the final whistle.
As long as we put in an effort in the playoffs id be happy. Getting promoted will be a bonus. If we lose out with a whimper, like the last 4 games, ill be dissappointed. Not only for the season end, but the fear that the form will bleed into next season.
Mundle Mayenda Watson Jobe Neil ELF Cirkin O'Nien Mepham Hume Patterson Would genuinely start that in the playoffs if it's possible.
Excellent choice mate easily our best eleven for the play-offs. Got some decent cover too in Rigg, Isidor and Ballard. All being well, our play-off chances are as good as any, its all we can ask imo.
doesn’t Dolan have more goals at the sol than him over the last two season and Dolan plays their once a year?
That's all I'm interested in mate, giving it our all and going up, or down, with a fight. I predicted the playoffs at the start and would take Wembley as a bonus ... ... promotion as a shock. We forget just how awful we were last season sometimes.
The big worry mainly for me is. If we were losing but looked threatening, had plenty shots on target and looked decent then I couldn’t care less but losing 4 on the spin with only 2 goals in the last however many games. A free kick that should have never went in and a run from the edge of our box. That’s what worries me/ we don’t look like creating or scoring
he’s not helped by the fact if mundle was fit, ELF would be in his berth saying that there’s no reason elf can’t be there now and just have Watson left It won’t happen but Watson over Robert’s is a shout
To me. QPR is a big chance for the lads to get everyone well behind them. Most are but if we put on a good performance and win the game. The SOL should be well up for the playoffs and give us a nice kick up the arse into the games. the lads should be looking at that game as a chance to get that momentum we need
Yep. If you want a funnier one, Patto has scored more OG's at the SoL than Roberts has scored this season.
I said something similar to you earlier. It’s not a knock on the lad as such, but for a promotion chasing team with 1 up top, his numbers for a ten in the amount of games he’s played isn’t good enough. Again not a knock on him because I wouldn’t expect it from him, but more of a wider picture why we have fallen short
neil had equally if not more horrors touches, complete miss kicks and a couple of classic Dan Neil titanic turns getting caught on the ball i know nowt about football but I can’t believe premier league teams are looking at a 23 year old who regularly plays like this typically players who do well in the prem moving from the championship stand out and he doesn’t
A serious question, if we wilt in the play offs like I’m expecting us to do, do we stick or twist with the manager. Last 9 games have been unbelievably **** but season overall has been exceeding our expectations. Up until today I would’ve said stick but I’m leaning to twist following another complete **** show.
Another funny one, in our 3 seasons in the Championship Roberts has scored 3 goals at the SoL. Seny Dieng (a goalkeeper) only has 2 less.
