Have a soft spot for The Hawks. When Pompey were playing away games, I often used to go and watch Waterlooville FC play at their old ground Jubilee Park, prior to them merging with Havant FC, in 1998.

Lovely little ground with a capacity of 6,000. The team attracted quite a few ex-Pompey players at the time, including Dave Munks, Jim Storrie, Vince Hilaire, Billy Gilbert, Joe Laidlaw, Gary Stanley, and Ray Pointer!

Pompey even signed both Paul Hardyman, and Guy Whittingham (Via Yeovil Town). Happy days!!

My dad used to take me to Jubilee Park quite regularly in the late 70s.
We used to stand near the dugouts in front of the grandstand

The Hawks did their bit by winning 2-0, but, unfortunately they needed Dorchester to fail to win in order to take the last play off place.
Si it's a second season in the Southern League Premier Division South and the first time in the history of National League South that Havant & Waterlooville will spend two consecutive seasons not in it.

What a shame! I read somewhere that one of their goal keepers is Lorenz Ferdinand - son of Rio Ferdinand. Apparently he has been spotted at the ground when his son is playing.
