Palmer has been gash for us when starting but has made the difference numerous times when coming off the bench.
We’re down and the club will be ****ed and lingering in the bottom reaches for a generation. The players haven’t been good enough and both head coaches this season haven’t been good enough either. However, one man takes most of the blame. Elder was right. This guy will destroy the club.
I’ve thought for a while he’s been getting off lightly , hes had over half a season , not been thrown in with 8 games to go and we are exactly where he found us
You know what I can’t get my head around? How the **** Kamara was 4.5m!!?? He looks like a totally unfinished half prospect who might be worth a punt at 10% of that. We’ve thrown some money away these last few years. Relegation is going to cripple us.
I think the straw to clutch at is, that if there is a less talented more spineless team in this whole division, it's Preston.
No, you're right. A win vs Portsmouth guarantees survival. Somehow it's still in our hands. Derby and Stoke can't both win. We beat Portsmouth we send one of them down.
Sad isn’t it…. I’m not even going to gloat and say ‘so where is your super Selles’ now Brady… Some of us who have watched for football for 60+ years can know a train wreck when its approaching. I’ve been telling you for weeks. Let’s put this in perspective, at a time when every team around us, have found a way we’ve been adrift without a rudder, with a spineless group and an inept, out of depth manager. For weeks, he’s got his team selections wrong, for weeks he’s set up completely wrong, holding out and hoping to get a draw whilst others went for wins. The damning statistic is that in 10 and a half hours, plus injury time of critical football, we have scored two goals from open play. One a header and the other a deflected shot. In 27 games this manager couldn’t win 2 on the bounce. Of course you’ll say, there’s still next week, which of course there is, maybe we’re due some luck, maybe Portsmouth will take pity on us. You make your own luck and Luton have had of a good bit of late. Jimmy Glass anyone!!! Ultimately, one person is responsible. If/when we go down financially we’re in the hole and I mean properly in the hole or should I say chasm. At least when we went down under the Allams we were financially viable. Three managers will be laughing themselves silly tonight… McCann who will be back here next season, Tim Walter who didn’t deserve the **** he got and that has been borne out by this shower wearing our club colours and of course Liam Rosenior. ** I cant remember who posted it, but when it started to go wrong, someone here posted remember Birmingham last season.
Not at all. In most teams, you can point to one or two players who are real standouts even when surrounded by mediocrity (or worse). Players who can produce a moment of magic, score a goal out of nothing, or whose passion and desire to do well are a motivator to all around them. There's nobody like that in this squad. It's just the dregs of an old youth team and a bunch of individuals who always look as if they're meeting one another for the first time when they go onto the pitch. It's absolutely shocking.
We offered absolutely nothing as per and Derby offered even less but we all knew what would happen and it did ! Its clutching at straws time now ,I don’t think anybody fancies us at Pompey…
Talking of Birmingham, only way we're getting out of this is if some American superstars suddenly want to buy us. No idea what's going on I know those on here mentioning disaster brewing wouldn't do so if it wasn't happening. Worrying times ahead.
Birmingham’s treatment of Eustace was even more idiotic especially when Rooney was his replacement. But getting rid of Rosie was ridiculous, and we as fans have some responsibility there. Some people still spout on about how Rosie effed it up with the ammunition provided by Acun, but that is just a load of tommyrot. Acun binned off two of our best managers for years (McCann and Rosenior) and now we look likely to reap what was sown.
