There's no way we aren't battering these now, we will score at least 4.

A nice game to stop one defeat turning into a run. Crush kill n destroy.

They scored twice at Chelsea, so there's no room for complacency.

Chelsea are a ****e team who are finishing 7th. I don't care that they beat Fulham, they've been rubbish for months and we'll batter them too.

I hear you and it's fair enough but my point was that they scored twice against a team who are playing terribly. That is relevant surely.

Chelsea can't be much worse than us because they're only 2 points behind after 30 plus games mind.

    I'm staying extra humble

They were around 15 points ahead of us earlier in the season as they were above Arsenal and only a few points behind Liverpool (around the 15-17 games mark). Since then they've barely got more than a point per game, let's be honest and admit that if that was us you'd be talking about how we had been found out and were sleepwalking towards a relegation next year.

They'll be fine of course but I can't see Maresca being there next year because they've looked like (and gained the points of) a mid-table side since before Christmas and it doesn't seem to be improving at all (Just seen that even with their win last weekend they've gained 26 points in 18 games - which is 11th best in the last half a season).

ps. It's what Tottenham did last season.

Chelsea are my most hated club. City allegedly broke stupid rules that were only brought in to protect the likes of Chelsea, who ironically had been able to do whatever the **** they wanted for years. Not only that, but they were allowed to write off $2bn owed to Abramovic, because he "just could". There was so much wrong with that, an asset of a Russian sympathiser, etc.

These days MBS for his $300bn personal wealth couldn't gift Newcastle United a fiver to grab a burger and a pint. Chelsea - and the PL directly - are abominations that should be brought to task for crimes against football. To add insult to injury, Boehly's clear plan was "how do we skirt around these rules", not how to play fair. They've consistently abused a loan system that's not fit for purpose, and discard kids at an incredible rate. They are loathesome.

A PSR system designed to stop Portsmouth and Bury repeating itself. Trouble is, those are the only two examples, and both are pretty much where they should be in the footballing pyramid, yet Man U have debts over $1bn they have no chance of recouping. There's around 1-2 mins every ****ing day I scratch my head wondering how on earth it all exists.

Only big 6 fans and their American ringlickers could be stupid enough to think the rules are about sustainability, or that they're fair, but they're hear to stay and will probably get worse not better.

Interesting, we had a few injuries this season, but Ipswitch have been annihilated lol:

ITFC: Sammy Szmodics, Kalvin Phillips, Arijanet Muric, Omari Giraud-Hutchinson, Jaden Philogene, Chiedozie Ogbene and Wesley Burns are all unavailable. Conor Townsend and Nathan Broadhead are both doubtful. Ipswich are set to be without Leif Davis after the Toon-supporting defender was red-carded during Sunday's 0-4 home reverse at the hands of Arsenal.

Interesting to see who, out of Barnes and Gordon, start on the left. Barnes is doing very well so it would be harsh if he was dropped, but I wonder if Isak benefits more from playing with Gordon there.

They've got a ****tonne of injuries, it's not just Ipswich we're facing, but a weakened Ipswitch.

And for some reason Liam Delap just seems to start from the bench....although I can see why this is, as 1966 England World Cup legend G.Hirst is starting ahead of him.

Agreed. I just hope we don't sub Gordon on for Murphy as usual.

Good shout - just had a look - up until the Brighton game where AG was sent off Isak had scored 18 goals in 18 games that he played in the league. Since Gordons been out he's got 2 in 6 (not inc. the cup final).

Maybe he does benefit from Gordon out there as opposed to Barnes - Barnes has been on fire but after a thumping to Villa, Eddie could make some changes. Think it would be harsh on Barnes mind.
