Graeme Bailey reporting that Norwich amongst others are in talks with Peterbroughs winger Kwame Poku who will be available on a free transfer in the summer. A target that I suggested in January, he has been performing well for a couple of years in League 1

Mariela Nisotaki has left the club…a month ago. Very highly regarded so a shame that she’s gone, interested to see who comes in to replace her

According to Training Ground Guru she has been recruited by Sport Republic, owners of three clubs -- Southampton, French club Valenciennes, and Turkish club Göztepe. Best known member of the SR group is Dane Rasmus Ankersen, formerly right-hand man to Matthew Benham at both Brentford and Midtjylland.

Not sure how a Greek lady working for a Turkish club will work out. Good luck Mariela and thanks for your service with us.

Speculation that Farke wants to take both Sargent and Sainz to Leeds after promotion. Beundia also mentioned (on loan in Germany?). As somebody has already stated, moving to the EPL doesn’t always work out. Only Jacob Murphy has made a success of the move in recent seasons.

He may not even be there the way the papers are talking. I expect/hope a lot of this is just media connecting him with old players. I’m suprised they haven’t mentioned, Godfrey and Aarons.

Maddison has been a success as well.

I could understand him wanting Buendia but really don't think that Sargent and Sainz are better, or even as good, as what he already has got.

Forgot about Maddison although that transfer was some time ago. Can anybody tell me where the likes of Godfrey, Aaron’s, Lewis, and Omo are now?

Lesser places, ok Omo is at Forest, but not sure what game time he is getting. Jamal is in S. America somewhere I believe, Aarons in Europe and Godfrey down the road.

Omobamidele is on loan at Strasbourg
Lewis was on loan at Sao Paulo but returned to Newcastle in Jan
Aarons is on loan at Valencia
    Godfrey on loan at Ipswich

None are deemed good enough for their parent club it would seem

I think Sargent is, comfortably. One of the commentators said the other day that Sargent is probably the best striker in the league - and frankly, I’d agree, he’s a pretty complete player now. The big question mark is his injury record.

I agree Sainz seems to be overrated and so if someone offers big money for him I think Norwich board should bite their hands off.

Maddison seems a bit out in the cold at Tottenham with his injury record and I’m not sure if he’s taking some of the blame for their poor season. If they are looking to get rid of him he’d be the perfect buy for Leeds IMO.

I couldn't agree more, Rob. And I don't expect anyone to offer us even £20 mil for him except in the form of performance add-ons.

I think Sainz is out out of contract in 2026, There maybe an option for an extra year? His rise to fame seems to reflect that of Rowe, who appears to be struggling for a starting place at Marseille. Time to sell Sainz. We have Dobbin in the wings, although he might not be as a prolific scorer.
