Me too, about 28 years ago. We stayed in Pont Aven, but drove around quite a bit, loved it and the seafood was awesome.

The current ms red is hilarious sometimes, my lad has just bought a new motor home, £75 grand and she says ooh that’s fantastic we could borrow it. Both myself and my lad look at each other, not a ****ing chance luv lol. She was crestfallen when he said “ er no mum.” His first trip starts tomorrow to go feed penguins in Lincolnshire. In summer they are just gonna stock it up and set off without a plan, drive through the tunnel and explore Europe. He’s no idea how long they’ll be gone for, where the fook they’ll visit. I’d love to do that but not with the current ms red…..I think they may visit his sister in Spain on their travels….

Did a good job in the main, with a couple of brief insensitive asides I thought however.

No…so this pretty unhelpful, but my Daughter went and it looked really nice with great art galleries etc, so I do fancy it.
I’ll look forward to your review!

    Valencia is great
    Load of tapas bars
Go to the bull ring it’s more a museum now
Great beach with loads of restaurants along it
    Great architecture
Go to the indoor market try a cuttle fish sarny
    Just a really chilled place
Go see Valencia play in a fantastic old stadium

Same here, a bike ride to Hornsea Mere was our day out, with jam sandwiches and a bottle of water.
My North Hull school used to run an annual trip to Farndale, I didn't even know where it was, but I knew the five day trip cost money, I didn't even take the letter to our parents home and slung it straight in the bin, Someone posted one of the letters on facebook last week, the cost for five days away was just over £2. It may as well have been £2m.

We used to go to Farndale with school back in the 70’s. Used to go to, or stay at a place called Blubberhouses. It was a village linked to the whaling industry in Whitby.

Blubberhouses is between Harrogate and Skipton, not sure it has links to Whitby (though the name suggests it should!).
