I see Martinez is living up to the tag of best goalkeeper in the world. Where’s Diego to come to his rescue?

How was there any controversy over the pen?

ramsay had the ball, running through and Dias cuts across his and takes out his leg with his knee. As clear a pen you’ll see

Ah but city have bribed everyone.

    The ref.

    The opposition keeper.

    Probably the 4th official too

How could it possibly be one

Good win for city. Weird game, Villa looked like they’d settle for a draw and just switched off at the end

So the title is virtually over, Relegation all but settled. Lets look at the CL spots.

Arsenal pretty much nailed on for 2nd after Newcastle lost, so we can ignore them not finishing top5.

    City- Wolves (h) Soton (a) Bmouth (h) Fulham (a)
    Forest- Brentford (h) Palace (a) Leicester (h) Wham (a) Chelsea (h)
    Newcastle- Ipswich (h) Brighton (a) Chelsea (h) Arsenal (a) Everton (h)
    Chelsea- Everton (h) Liverpool (h) Newcastle (a) Man U (h) Forest (a)
    Villa- Fulham (h) Bmouth (a) Spurs (h) ManU (a)

2 of them have to miss out.

Before last weekend my prediction was
    Newcastle
    city
    forest
    chelsea
    villa

villa smashing Newcastle put a dent in that one but just looking at fixtures feel confident in that prediction

can see Newcastle winning 4/5 and Arsenal could go either way.

can see city winning all as none of those teams have anything to play for, Fulham away is toughest but last game will be nothing on it for them unless a late dash for europa.

Forest prob 3 wins maybe a draw in there. Should just about be enough after the win v spurs.

Chelsea toughest games. Cant see them beating Forest or Newcastle away from home which are huge 6 pointers and may be side tracked by Europe.

villa decent enough fixtures, especially if United and spurs get through to Europa but already few points behind and could be 5 after weekend.

I think, given the choice, we'd all like Man City and Chelsea to miss out <laugh>

I've said for a long time that Man City will get back into it. Thought they'd give Arsenal a challenge but I was always confident they'd catch and overtake Forest.

Hopefully Forest can secure CL football. I don't like them but think they deserve it after the season they've had.

Newcastle getting CL would give them a massive boost in recruiting players and being able to spend.

Villa are on the back foot now

If forest win v Brentford it's a 6 point gap with 4 to play and inferior gd.

Chelsea have bad fixtures, again if forest can really push the next couple of games could see them cracking.

3rd is in forests hands tbh. Their next two are harder than the west ham. Leicester ****e

As long as Chelsea miss out I'm not that fussed otherwise, as missing out on the CL would damage them the most.

I really think it's down to us.

We play Chelsea at the bridge. If we hand them 3 points they can catch forest but there's so few games left they can't recover from a loss.

The way I see this now is villa are almost out of it. That loss was major. 4 points behind city with 4 games left?

    Forest need 4 wins.
    Newcastle need 5 wins.
    City need 5
    3 out of 4 now.

Something a little odd in reading headlines about 'man city in race for fifth place'.

You could have said that twice about us.

No side has a divine right to anything.

We could say it's unusual to see utd in 14th.

I hope to see City in 20th by seasons end with a 100 point deduction but it's a vain hope.
