I hope you’re not meaning you’re putting your name down for your funeral mate!! I will suggest it to my boss though. If any Funeral Director was to do it I hope it’s me!
I honestly don’t know I’d have thought they’d be the other way round to stop climbing? The pic of the artists impression look like that is possibly the outer fence and there’s a higher inner fence?
It's only necessary to stop people falling, not climbing. It's impossible to totally prevent people doing what they choose ... ... if they want to toss themselves off they'll always find a way.
The French make it sound so romantic don't they? Sounds better that "a feel like I'm ganna jump" Couldn't remember what they called it...the call of the void
Quite right mate ... although, as you'll know, it's more often an emotional jump into the unknown. I know because I've made that leap of faith many times ... ... and no safety net
I just know it in relation to what daz mentioned and I've often felt it at heights etc. Ended up looking it up one day and as daz said the french have a particularly suave way to describe it
I love French and some of the slang ... ... I still use it now if I'm frustrated with someone and don't want them to know what I'm saying. 'J'en ai ras le bol de toi' is a favourite when I'm talking to the builders
I know what you mean and if you want to jump I’ve known people go off the Wearmouth, rail and QA bridges and still can. My point was, if they arched inwards it would make it more difficult to jump as you’d have a tougher time climbing over.
