In a strange way, I’ve actually enjoyed this season. Seeing the best players coming to Portman Road. However, clearly a step too far. We regroup in the championship - no VAR and for the most part, exciting end to end football to look forward to. If we can keep the majority of the current squad as well as Kmc, no reason we shouldn’t be pushing for top 6 as a minimum and maybe we’ll finally beat norwich

Funny things can happen in football. Beat Bournemouth and Saturday becomes an edgy game for Wolves. The only trouble with that is that nobody in their right mind would fancy our chances of beating Bournemouth.

8 games at home without scoring now.

On another note, that is only leicesters 2nd home league game since February 22nd.
They have not scored at home since December 8th.

We have only scored 4 league goals at home from that date. ( also so have Brentford)

If your crumble has a bitter after taste, you should try having it with custard, it always tastes sweeter

Todays games; is nobody congratulating Leeds doing it in style, 4 straight wins culminating in a 6-0 thrashing. You love us really

While I for one have never warmed to Leeds, it was an impressive win. It would be churlish not to comment.

There are teams I can never warm to, usually because of a manager or coach over the years, and yes sometimes the fans. Man United and Chelsea spring to mind however, not every fan is the same, we all have good and bad fans.

Forums bring out the worst in all of us, no facial expression behind what you type and so easy to add a line or two of text you’d probably never say to someone’s face, I’m sure we’re all guilty <ok>

Congratulations to Leeds on your promotion, ristac, hopefully you make a better fight of it than we did.

I just hope at least one of the promoted sides can stay up next season. If all the promoted sides get relegated again next season, there’s a real risk we’ll have a Super League style closed shop in all but name.

If I was a Burnley or Leeds fan, I’d be hoping for a big summer of Premier League managerial upheaval. If teams like Brentford, Bournemouth, and Fulham lose their managers - I think there’s an increased likelihood for some of those teams to be dragged into a relegation dogfight.

Thanks Nuggets, the divide keeps deepening, Leeds needed promotion due to financial pressures and fair play rules.

I think Leicester are in for an extended stay in the Championship, Southampton I don’t know, they’ve been terrible this season. Your challenge is going to be Sunderland who always nearly challenge or Sheffield although Bristol City could be a dark horse and sneak through this season

Crazy that for two consecutive seasons 95 points is probably not enough for automatics, I can’t see that being the same next season.

I can actually see Ipswich going for the record points haul. Sadly for the Championship the parachute money is having a big effect on the Championship and that’s now becoming a mini premier league

Football in the English divisions needs an overhaul it really does. Anyway, early promotion means our director of football can start early planning, sadly the most exciting part of promotion is this middle bit of enjoying the initial buzz and preseason signings, it’s a bit downhill after that

They have been so fortunate this season, I seriously don’t think you need to worry about anyone. They’re going to lose Hamer if they stay down. It’s been a very poor Championship this season and I can’t see Southampton or Leicester troubling you
