Amrabat......Big heart and grafted like hell Geldhart..... The brighest spark....far better playing central, than wasted on the wing. The crowd...Really got behind the boyz in the 2nd half...
Amrabat - for showing that class is permanent, even at his age Preston just couldn’t deal with him. Geldhardt - for holding his nerve on putting both penalty kicks away, and for making the ref make a decision for the first. Hughes - for that all important block at 1-1, if that had gone in I honestly feel we’d have got nothing out of the game. Mention for Kyle Joseph, he proved his doubters wrong and won the all important second penalty to get us all three points.
1. Amrabat ... Great game that a trouper. Ref could have protected him more. 2. Geldhardt. Cool with the pens. 3. Coyle ... I don't get the hatred some show for him.
Amrabat - great effort from the veteran -showed the passion, skill and character so many have lacked this season Macca - apart from the above, one of the few who looked interested in the first 45 Gelhardt - Quiet first half, but had the bottle to stand up and score both pens.
Conceding a corner does not automatically cost you a goal, ****ing poor defending and not marking your man properly at said resulting corner definitely does….
He seems to be criticised endlessly! It's Charlie who can't be criticised! In truth, I like both of them and they were both warriors today.
