For a bloke that is about 6’4, van de Ven is utterly horrific in the air. I can barely remember him winning many/ any aerial duels.
It’s more than that. They’re just not good enough when it comes to PL. Europa league had no champions league dropouts this season. That’s why Spurs have got to the last 4.
Mate, at this point, it’s honestly not worth these premier league games bothering us as fans. We’ve been dreadful for months and months, and for about the last 4-6 weeks in particular, there’s been a mentality shift from the players, where they’ve given up putting effort into PL matches. They’ve meant nothing to them because we knew we had enough points on the board not to go down. They aren’t arsed. It’s Europa or bust.
The way we are playing makes everyone feel like all our players are poor and I don’t believe that to be the case. It's just a horrifically poor manager that is making them look this bad. There is always an exception to the rule and hence why we do win now and again. But normal service has been well and truly resumed tonight
Yeah I’ve been past bothering for weeks/ months now. I’m at a stage where I’m genuinely finding it funny seeing how amateur we look under Ange.
see, I think we are good enough. We have enough talent to be finishing much higher than 15-17th. But our coach doesn’t know how to get that out of the players. And they’ve lost faith.
The board aren't arsed. The coach is more interested in ****ing off the fans. The players look lost and unmotivated. We really are in a deep dark place.
