Give it a rest ffs - he had no idea that he wasn't being closed down nor did any of his mates tell him to take a touch.
He put the ball safe , didn't know what was behind him because none of his team mates called for him to leave it . It was then up to the team to defend the corner and we failed .
It was bad defending Hes in the english 2nd div He simply has to have awareness of whose behind him It was acres of space Its not the first time hes done it But i guess he cant be criticised
It's your opinion and it can be so easy to be in the stands and criticise. Fortunately we won Come on City
Any of them can be criticised. He was ****e on Friday. Rightly hooked before half time. He was excellent today though, and as others have said, him putting the ball out for a corner isn't the problem. We defended it like amateurs.
He was good today But putting the ball for a needless corner creates needless pressure The corner defending is irrelevant to the point But i give up
Loads of them put us under needless pressure various times in open play which lead to panic and chaos. At least with giving a corner up you'd expect us to get organised and sort it out. There's a big difference. I'm more concerned with how frequently the middle 3 gave the ball up personally.
Amrabat Macca Egan A vital win and a bigger crowd for a relegation dog fight than the top of the table Chubby League derby. PNE ended up looking daft in their bowler hats. UTT.
Amrabat Gelhardt Coyle I'd have gone Macca for 3rd but giving away the corner under absolutely no pressure for their goal was unacceptable
1.Ambrat. Immense, everything Pedro wasn't on Friday. Ran his heart out, tackled everything, and left his mark. Great performance and fully deserving of the standing ovation he got when he was subbed. 2.Geldhart, like a wasp at a BBQ. Took balls to step up for the second penalty too. 3. Egan. Cool and composed. ... The crowd deserve a mention too because we really got behind the team today. Bit of needless booing at halftime, probably out of frustration but today those who were there and not at home posting 5hite on the internet, stepped up today and it made a huge difference. Completely nulled the PNE support on their big Gentry day out. So a huge, huge three points. Well done. UTT.
