at the minute because of the way the team is playing I’d be starting Mayenda because he can create his own chances

but if we started being creative I’d be starting Isidor every day of the week

 

Although maybe we just keep underperforming xG so we can balance it out and score every shot in the playoffs:

Cirkins made of Wheatabix. I wouldnt be sad to see him leave in the summer, and Ballard aswell for that matter

 

Maybe not, still need him for the playoffs though if we want the best chance.

That may well be the case but as long as they’re our players they could have an important role to play.

 

Yeah i agree a fit Cirkin is class, but my patience has ran out with him now. His contribution vs unavailability for us is ridiculous. Its not just a one of season either, this is 3 years now players like Hume have to play week in week out because of his constant injuries. Same goes with Alese and Ballard.

 

Agree with both comments. We need rid for someone fit and we need him fit for the play offs

I feel like it gets blown out of proportion slightly because of the last season where he only featured in 8, since signing:
Season 1 - 37/49 games in the league (some not injury)
Season 2 - 28/48 games
Season 3 - 8/46 games (horrendous)
Season 4 - 34/44 games

Granted it isn't ideal but if we had signed another left back it would feel like a lot less of an issue forcing a player to play every minute each time he comes back and getting re-injured.

 

Up there with the best forwards in the world, I wouldn’t say player. Not sure many would disagree with that

 

Mate i know its not his fault but look at Hume for example. He plays for us week in week out and the NI when its the international break. Its not acceptable to be injured as much as him, Alese and Ballard are. The 3 of them let us down 2 years ago with their injuries in the playoffs, id rather just get rid of the 3 of them now and bring in more trustworthy replacements.

 

Cirkin missed nearly 2 months with concussion 2 years ago ffs. Who even suffers from concussion that long?

 

The way to get Isidor scoring again is to sell him then get him back on loan.

 

Protocols with head injuries are massive

6 weeks though mate? As you can tell im frustrated as feck with him, Alese and Ballard so just using that injury as an example.

We also have major concerns with Seelt and Huggins aswell. If they cant play get rid imo.
