    If derby and luton lose today and cardiff win the wba game will be the biggest game of the season.

    Everyone in the bottom 7 at the start of the day won - except us and obviously Oxford.

    That's it and good night Championship.

    Poor performance. Typical of the season. Slow aimless passing.

    Ryan Wintle would look like Pirlo in our central midfield.

    Huge clear out and rebuild needed for L1 and we need a new managerial team in sharpish.

    Nothing really changed. I just don’t know what goes through the players minds when they’re 1 up? We’re in the lead - our tails are up and should be looking to get another but instead they just automatically go deeper and deeper.

    I will criticise Ramsey for taking off Salech. He knew balls would be punted into the box so why take off the only one who can get his head to a cross?

    Is there an escape route for us? If eg (massive if of course) we win tomorrow what needs to happen to give us a theoretical chance at Norwich?

    The only route out of our predicament as far as I can see is;

    We win both our games we have left (obviously);

    Coventry beat Luton tomorrow
    Hull beat Derby tomorrow

    Next week Stoke pull off an unexpected win away at Derby.

    In saying that, if Oxford suffer a couple of heavy defeats at home to Sunderland and then away at our beloved cousins down the road (who to be fair have been doing more for our survival chances than even we have!) then they too are still catchable.

    All the other I think have too big a gap due to the goal difference issue.

    It's looking pretty bleak.

    It's the one thing we didn't want with a couple of games to go - not being in control of our own destiny and reliant on others losing.

    I'm not sure what result I'd prefer between Hull and Derby tomorrow - a win for either would put them safe and leave the other in the mix.

    If Luton see off Cov we'll need to win both our games by decent goal margins to have any hope of catching them even if they lose their last at Brom.

    I don't see this coming down to goal difference, but if it does we'll rue the 5-0 and 7-0 drubbings by Burnley and Leeds.

    So it’s not mathematically impossible which is something I suppose but too many ifs and buts - not least City winning not one but both games. Given we’ve won only 9 all season and only 4 this year even one win is a tough ask.<doh>

    Ever the optimist, in the expectation that the unlikely scenario will come, I have bought a ticket for the Norwich game. Win or lose it will be memorable. Bluebirds!
