Seriously hope that's the end of the rotation. You could see the difference once our better players came on but they need to play together before going into our biggest games in years.

Jones and Jobe were the standouts from the starters. Watson offered more than Roberts does, Roberts was garbage once he came on which is no surprise, the two free kicks were a joke. Mayenda has to be the starting striker. ELF is huge for us, can receive the ball anywhere and spots passes nobody else can.

Still believe we can do it but I think we really need some momentum.

Absolutely no complaints from me. I'll say it again, results simply don't matter at the moment. Same goes for next week. You could maybe argue we'd ideally want a win against QPR so we have some momentum going into the play offs, but even that isn't a huge deal really. These are effectively pre-season games.

Watson looked a lot better, and we got some decent minutes for the likes of Samed, Aleksic, Anderson, Browne, and Jones in case we need them in the playoffs. Performance not the best but not terrible. Think the squad is being managed very well, and we're gearng up towards the play offs in a smart way.

Yeh for me there’s absolutely no reason now why we shouldn’t go into every game, injuries and suspensions permitting, with the team that will start the playoffs.

Bristol fans as well. They’re away to Leeds next week. It’s not over for them

Missed out a Samed shoutout. Kept it simple and easy and covered the ground infront of the defence well. Could be a big player coming off the bench in the playoffs.

    cheers again RTB...

well, all but expected that result, RLB definately using these games as 'time for the lads'.

browne i thought did very well at the back with his forward runs, watson was a big improvement and young jones looked like he had been in the first team all season so some good performances across the pitch but i honestly feel joe anderson had an excellent game.

overall play was far better than in recent games, helped by the fact that blackburn decided we were not going to score and just sat back.

officials were ok, pretty much in the same frame of mind as RLB.

going to give my MotM to joe anderson, some big shoes to fill out there and looked assured, close call to jones mind.

We are lucky we started the season so well.

In the 30 game form table we are only +3 goal difference.

Poor performance imo. Imdividual performances from Jones and Watson good. I thought Samed did well too, although he is a bit too slow in posession at times. A good option for the play offs maybe though.

Isidor frustrates me so much. I would nail my colours firmly to the Mayenda mast now. When there are headers to be challenged for be jumps out of the way. Even when balls were flashed across the box he isnt gambling like poachers do. That lack of goal threat emerging, along with giving away awful goals is a worrying sign. We need to find something in these next two games in terms of form at both ends of the pitch, as we dont look like being able to grind away anymore.

These next couple of weeka on the training ground are going to be massive. We need to refocus the back line as their spaces look off and we need to find something in the box. It is possible, and we still have the players, need a bit now from Regis. He has opted for rotation, which is his perogative. Now he needs to get the team back performing at a high level.

I do fear that we caught everyone by surprise in the first 10-15 games and now we’ve been found out we’ll need to really step it up next year

I dont mind us taking the foot off the pedal a bit. But i cant help feeling disappointed that we havnt picked up at least a couple of draws and entertained a little in the process. I hope we put our big boys pants on for the play offs. Because if we lose out with a whimper then some questions will certainly be raised.

Yeah its annoying but i do see the logic in it aswelll. Weve got nothing to play for now so we might aswell give these young kids a run out and rest some players.
I do however hope we pick strong for our ladt 2 games because momentum going into the playoffs is important.

Mayenda is streets ahead of Isidor for me. Don't want to see him being shifted out wide anymore.

Strange to say after a third defeat in a row,

but we are in a better and stronger position than those below us,

they have to perform and win to get POs.

    we dont.

yes winning builds confidence but when POs hit. We will have our strongest side possible available.
