At this point playing Watson is more punishment than dropping him. Deserved after Friday the reception he will get. It’s also massively obvious with the amount of mins he’s getting during this run he will be nowhere near the first 11 during the playoffs

I’ll play devils advocate here and say that maybe TW was hesitant last game and probably will be until the end of the season because he wants to make sure he is in the best shape for the play offs. And maybe that’s what he’s been told to do by RLB.

 

How is momentum in football a myth? Just because one team one year went into the play offs after a big loss and won it doesn’t mean that’s the norm. Form is massive for players and teams. I’m pretty sure you’d rather see your striker stepping up to take a penalty after burying his last 10 rather than missing his last 10.

 

Or maybe Regis is playing him just so he can hoik him off after 15 minutes so the whole ground can boo the twat.

 

Team got clapped on and off during warmups so hoping it’s a sign for match to come. Support ya team is what I say (after all we are supporters aren’t we)

 

Injuries or not, genuinely can’t believe Anderson is getting league minutes at this level. Would’ve preferred Bainbridge.

I had no ill feelings toward Watson whatsoever for his transfer but he’s downed tools. It’s a two way street, he’s not going to get the well wishes of fans if he can’t even be arsed to challenge for the ball. I’ll be the first to tell you I find it embarrassing when fans sing about former managers and players all game ie Alex Neil but of course because it’s Watson and he’s a local lad he’ll get an exemption from some. If that was someone like Hemir the same folk would be calling him worse than ****.
