Eddie Howe will miss Newcastle’s match with Manchester United on Sunday after being admitted to hospital for tests late on Friday night. The 47-year-old has been told he will not be discharged until Sunday at the earliest as medical staff assess an unspecified condition that kept him at home in bed during the latter part of last week. He was understood to still have been undergoing tests on Saturday afternoon.
Wish him well obviously. Birmingham easily promoted back to the Championship after one season . Their owners will be relived after the mess they made of last season with I think it was 6 managers! Like Wrexham dipping into their pockets helps. Seen people say it’s showing ambition but can be risky too .
Villa really made a good effort of that after being 2-0 down early . The last minute goal in the first leg made all the difference
The Championship is set for a blockbuster weekend to reaffirm its position as one of Europe's most exciting leagues. As X account Albion Analysis, external pointed out this week, mathematically every team can still be promoted or relegated this season. https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/articles/ckg1y7ddrpxo
Full time score too. Am hoping Cardiff can extend Sheff U's losing run by beating them at Bramall Lane - and leapfrog both Luton & Derby...
Very good performance by Villa. Trouble at West Ham with players speaking out ? https://x.com/WestHam_Central/status/1913662460143296629 https://x.com/WestHam_Central/status/1913646211191484513
Just noticed that all fixtures scheduled for today in Italy have been postponed due to a "national day of mourning". Anyone know what they're mourning for?
I know he has been unwell and was in a wheelchair but was only out in public yesterday giving a sermon .
