Big no from me. Don’t see what he has to offer. Far better wingers out there. Mbeumo being one at same age and far superior player. Seem to just far too inconsistent, prob a decent bet for 6-8th but can’t see him being anywhere near good enough for top level
Do you think the amount of stories in the press are magically appearing cos the press and Internet baiters are just entirely making them up? I doubt too many care enough tbh, I do however know his wages and imo he will be wanting a massive new deal.
Not really. Mane has done cracking job at Salzburg then went to saints and hit double digits in prem for 2 seasons before joining us. Semenyo has been playing on lower leagues and played 2 and hit seasons in prem and not hit double digits once
it won't increase all that much to cover 5 to 7 years off 1 cl qualification. They are having to slowly get rid of real sponsors. They reported 320 with cl. Their commercial revenues are still less than 1/3rd what they could be if let dope wildly It will come in time but they still have to pass uefa rules
As in they will dope the **** out of it? I'd agree with that as the prem has proven to be utterly ineffective at controlling it. My point is they will still pay under the table.
Because they are owned by people where corruption is a way of life. I remember when Hull FC signed player from Wigan but his tax documents were for a rugby union club… corruption is rife in all sport
What i find op odd is how uefa will accept one thing and the premier league another. Surely three should be an overall single set of rules for these things. No you can't sell your womens team to yourself say uefa. The prem says oh no problem and tell you what make up any number you like. Surely there should be a strict set of rules if you are genuine about protecting clubs for fans. To protect a club and its history for a future generation to enjoy. 1. No asset stripping. Sell the stadium? Nope. You can't be registered to a league without a stadium directly owned by the club. (Would West ham meet this? 2. All wages related to football.must be paid by the club. Ground staff, stewards, concession stands, everyone. No parent companies etc. 3. Sponsorships to be valued and realised topped out at a set level. Any more and it its worthless to the football club to pay wages or fees. Spend it on ground improvements if you want. 200mil is lower than we make today but a reasonable limit. 4. Stadium revenues should also be topped out somehow to stop clubs charging monstrous ticket prices. The bigger the ground the more it can be levelled out. Some form of per seat allowance. 5. Some means to have a salary cap by club. A maximum amount. Let clubs then pay one star or whatever. They can't pay 50. 6. A hard cap on pro contracts. Chelsea are outrageous. If you want to ruin your academy and just buy everyone then do so. 7. A even harder homegrown rule thst prevents academy robbing and promotes local talent
I know but you can see why Ipswich have struggled, when they’ve tried to break you only get 1 or 2 in support against 6 or 7 defenders of Arsenal.
