If you're talking about eating in the city centre and not close to the ground, try La Parilla Mexican Bar and Grill in Bold Street, fast food wise, there's a Taco Bell and a Persian restaurant called Baron, all in Bold Street. If you make it to Liverpool One there's a bit of everything - Amalia is good for Italian. Albert Dock also a good destination for food of all kinds and take in The Beatles Story, Maritime Museum, The Tate, Slavery Museum or, if you're into escape rooms they have an Escape Hunt with about 5 different options but it is about £20 to take part. Just walking along the Docks and taking in the sights costs you nothing though. Take a picture with the Beatles statues at the Pier Head or go on an LFC / Klopp street mural hunt.
Just got back from a week in Liverpool with the kids. Meet an Argentine spot on bruswick street opposite the pier head was fantastic. Spice Thai just round the corner was delicious. The restaurants on the dock are much of a muchness, you'll enjoy it but they arnt top notch. Might be a bit kiddy but the national musuem was really very good, enjoyed it alot & the ferry sightseeing cruise But in general it's a nice spot to take a walk around. Look up, there's some unbelievable architecture above the shops.
Cheers all, Albert Dock sounds like it's worth a visit then. Plan on taking a look at the new Everton ground (will be a while before we visit) so might do that first and then head down. Is that the world heritage site area?
I’m doing the Stadium tour this afternoon. Where is the best place to park. With the Blue noses playing City, Stanley Road car park is an official car park for them to use, so is there anywhere else to park?
Asda. Seriously what time are you going cos that's one you want to plan ahead. Afternoon is going to line up with theirngsme but obviously allmeverton fans walk 2 mins to the ground at most.
It's in an industrial estate. I've no idea if you can walk round the stadium yet. It'd be about the same distance to walk as walking to goodison (not much less)
You could go and visit the house where I was brought up, couple of hundred yards from Goodison. there's no blue plaque yet though...
Yeah I've got a feeling the gate in the dock wall will be shut still as they've not even had the 3rd test yet. Might drive round to the other side of the river and see how it looks from there. Be a good second use for some binoculars I've got for West Ham today
Took my daughter and my sisters to the M&S theatre last Saturday. Picked them up later from a restaurant on the Albert Dock. It's fantastic around all there now. I left Liverpool 32 years ago, and there was really just the Pump House there then - all along the Strand, the Pier Head, Dale St, etc is amazing. I advise you not to drive around there though. I used to go to school just outside the city centre and knew all that area like the back of my hand - that 50 years ago though. **** me, I'd be amazed if don't end up getting a ticket for going the wrong way down a one-way st or stopping in a no parking zone. That said, aren't all city centres like that now?
You should be alright to drive down regent street and look in the gates but they probably will be locked. I think they are still working in places and laying in stones and paths and whatever. You might be close to bacaro for Italian btw.
They can keep him. Everyone seems to have fixated on the 3 rumours now. Kerkez Ekitike Huisjen There will probably be a Szoboslazi moment from nowhere. Like you look at our history with transfers we have had some rumbling ones like thiago or gravenberch or macallister and then some thst break from nowhere like szoboszlai or nunez or even zubimendi In the end most of the talk is from players or selling clubs trying to keep names front and centre. Isak is on 120k at Newcastle. You can be sure his agent will be out to get thr best possible deal for himself and by extension his player this summer. Newcastle are likely to pay him and you'll find some.deal in Saudi as well where.money goes to sit for him
Why do you hold that oppinion? Do you think it might be possible he is actually happy at the club and will retire a millionair either way.
